Hi there, I have just read through your tax resistance 'ordeal' from 1998/99 and found it very interesting. I found your website while trying to google information on tax resistance because my son is currently doing home work which asks whether not paying tax on the grounds of not supporting government policies is a crime in Australia? I was wondering if you still continue to refuse to pay tax on the grounds of conscientious objection and have you ever been charged (in the criminal sense) for not paying tax? Is it considered a crime as such? Any brief enlightening information would be gratefully received. I must say that I agree with your right to refuse to pay taxes that go into supporting wars but it obviously takes a mammoth effort to stand up for your convictions. I don't think that I could have gone through what you did but I certainly admire you for doing it. Regards, Belinda Prinzen
