* Focus on the situation in former Yugoslavia and the problem of how to stop
the men with the arms.  The Peace movement is finding difficulty with the
question of how to stop the armed fighters, and whether the Bosnians should
be allowed arms too.

* Just done a two day workshop in Brisbane
* Will be taking the Energy Trailer to north Queensland schools 
* Networking in preparation for November 26th - International Day to End
Violence Against Women

* Wildlife Action Group has been doing actions 
* Running workshops for People Against Kuranda Skyrail -working out actions
for Cairns and will indicate direct action planning later. Construction of
the Skyrail is due to start in two to three months, and will need trainers
after the contracts have been let, probably about July or August
* Next workshop planned for 22/24 May. Already has a high profile in the
community.

Forests
Nature of conflict?  New South Wales appears to be in conflict with
Wilderness Society. In Victoria there is tension between the approach that
all native forests should be preserved and a lack of social analysis. 
Phone link up issues
Jack, Jo, Jacinta and Kevin will work on it. Ideas to be sent to contact
people.
Niramon Prudatron
She is an organiser of the Women and Nonviolence(?) gathering in Thailand and
will be here for eight months until January with the Quakers.
Howard Clark visit
As War Resisters' International executive is finding it hard to get the time
off, and lack of money. Probably late February, early April next year, may
try to get food and accommodation funded through universities.
