Aims * promote peace, liberation, human rights and social justice in Africa through nonviolent means. * strive to build a social order that will utilise the resources of human ingenuity and wisdom for the benefit of all and in which no individual or group will be exploited or oppressed for the profit or pleasure of others. * work to abolish war and create a community of concern, transcending national boundaries and selfish interests. * refuse to participate in physical, moral, psychological or financial preparation for war or violence. * advocate fair and compassionate methods of dealing with offenders against society. * serve as advocates for victims of crime and their families. * endeavour to show reverence for personality in the home, vocational relationships, school and other educational processes, in association with persons of other races, creeds or nations. * seek to avoid bitterness or contention in dealing with controversy and maintain the spirit of self-giving love while engaged in the effort to acheive these purposes. * identify with every nation, race, sex or religion which is the victim of injustice and exploitation. * seek to develop resources of active nonviolent intervention to help rescue them from such circumstances. * encourage campaigns for prompt elimination of threats to peace in Africa and the world.* support, publicise and work with international agencies in the field.
