About the Cover The cover depicts the logo of the Gulf Peace Team, whose first project was an international, nonpartisan peace camp on the border between Iraq and Saudi Arabia, intending to be witnesses for peace and to demonstrate nonviolence as an alternative to war. Cover layout is by Jon Marshall of Marshall Arts, 24 Industrial Ave, Wacol 4076. Editorial Collective Nonviolence Today is a publication we hope will promote nonviolence in a broad sense. It is strictly nonprofit and all editors donate their time and use of personal resources (e.g. Macintosh computer). The editors for this issue were Jan, Janelle, Jerry and David. We hope you will continue to support our efforts to promote the understanding and practice of nonviolence. Our roots are too deep for us to think of giving up the struggle. We all worked together to build up that spirit, that love. They would have to kill us all to destroy our movement and they can't. I don't get that cold feeling any more. I am no longer afraid of dying. Chico Mandes November 1988 List of Contacts Australia Queensland Jan McNicol P.O. Box 292 West End Qld 4101 Ph.
