It was established ten years ago as a resource centre to support the social change movement. Since then Commonground has gained a reputation for offering good quality, accessible and relevant workshops to a wide range of community groups. News Flash The Nonviolence Facilitation Collective is pleased to announce that Bryan Law is available at Commonground from now until 30 April 1995 for consultation and developmental workshops with community groups and nonviolent activists who want to improve their campaigning skills. Bryan has twelve years of experience in organising, promoting, and carrying out peace and forest defence campaigns. He has spent the last three years developing some very successful community-based campaigns in far north Queensland. As well as working full-time on a "Powering the Future" energy project for the regional environment centre, he helped organise the Skyrail campaign as a volunteer member of ANN. Bryan is particularly happy to help groups and activists develop media skills, and assist with strategic analysis and campaign development.
